Pureflow’s custom-engineered ozone mass transfer systems are designed to maximize dissolved ozone transfer efficiency while minimizing ozone losses throughout the treatment process. By delivering high-concentration ozone directly to the point of dissolution, our systems reduce pressure losses, improve gas utilization, and consistently achieve target dissolved ozone concentrations in a wide range of water and wastewater treatment applications.
Unlike conventional ozone systems that rely on larger gas volumes and lower ozone concentrations, Pureflow’s advanced ozone generation technology produces highly concentrated ozone gas with a lower oxygen-to-ozone ratio. This results in improved mass transfer performance because less carrier gas enters the process while more ozone is available for dissolution. Higher ozone concentrations allow operators to achieve treatment objectives with lower gas flow rates, reducing off-gas handling requirements and improving overall system efficiency.
Each mass transfer system is custom designed to meet the specific hydraulic and treatment requirements of the application. Available configurations include pipeline flash reactors, venturi injection systems, sidestream injection systems, static mixers, and serpentine ozone contactors. These technologies are carefully integrated to optimize ozone dissolution, maximize contact efficiency, and ensure reliable ozone residuals where required.
