Pureflow’s ANSI/NSF certified proprietary and non-proprietary permanent and disposable filter media provide industry leading performance, longevity, and backwash efficiency.
Filter Media
PM-200 / PM-200M
PM-200 FILTER MEDIA (100% Manganese Dioxide)
PM-200M FILTER MEDIA (50% Manganese dioxide / 50% #60 garnet)
PM-200M FILTER MEDIA (50% Manganese dioxide / 50% #60 garnet)
PM-200 filter media is an NSF 61 approved, proprietary, catalytic-adsorptive, high-rate, granular media used for the removal of heavy metals, metalloids, and other contaminants from source water . The media is composed of highly reactive manganese dioxide and other proprietary minerals.
- For the removal of arsenic, iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfides, etc.
- Filter loading rates up to 15 gpm/ft2.
- Backwashed water flow rate of 20 gpm/ft2, for four minutes.
- Contaminants in the raw water are first oxidized and the heavy metals are adsorbed onto the filter media. When arsenic removal is required, and raw water Iron concentration is low, ferric chloride is added to the raw water to increase total Iron and enhance the co-precipitation reaction responsible for effective arsenic removal.

.
BAYOXIDE E33
Bayoxide E33 is a disposable iron oxide adsorber media in granular form that provides removal of arsenic, antimony, selenium, and phosphate from potable water sources.
- Service flow 3.0 gpm/cf
- Backwash Rate: 2.8 gpm/cf
- Mesh size 16 to 50
- 2-3 year life expectancy (dependent on raw water quality)

ANTHRACITE
Anthracite is a low-density coal-based carbon media used as the top layer in water or wastewater use in a multi-media or dual-media filter. The media is used to remove odor, color, biological contaminates, floc, and large solids, allowing for efficient solids loading and improved run times between backwashes.
